Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of myresetprotocol.com (the “Site”) and the products and services offered by Roan Priatel, operating as a sole proprietorship in British Columbia, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site, purchasing a product, or submitting an intake, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or purchase our services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• You are not prohibited from receiving our services under the laws of your jurisdiction
• The information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete

If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the Site. Any purchase by a minor is void. We will refund any payment made by or on behalf of a minor upon discovery, and we will not deliver the product.

2. The Product

The Reset Protocol is a personalized digital document (the “Protocol”). It is delivered as a PDF file, between 108 and 122 pages, calibrated to your intake responses. Delivery occurs within 3 to 5 business days of intake completion.

The Protocol is:

• An educational behavioral protocol
• A self-guided document
• Based on synthesis of peer-reviewed behavioral research

The Protocol is NOT:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Psychological therapy or counseling
• Substance abuse treatment
• A substitute for professional clinical care
• A guarantee of any specific outcome

You acknowledge and agree that the Protocol is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If you have or suspect you have any medical, psychological, or psychiatric condition, consult a licensed practitioner. We are not licensed clinicians and do not provide care.

3. No Outcome Guarantee

We do not guarantee any specific result, outcome, recovery, or improvement from using the Protocol. Individual results vary based on factors outside our control, including your effort, consistency, environment, biology, and circumstances. By purchasing the Protocol, you acknowledge that no outcome is promised, implied, or guaranteed.

4. Use of Clinical Screeners

The intake includes validated clinical screening instruments (PHQ-2, GAD-2, SCOFF, AUDIT-C, and a suicidality screen). These are used solely to calibrate your Protocol and to identify safety concerns. They do not constitute clinical assessment or diagnosis. A high score on any screener does not establish a clinical condition; a low score does not rule one out. If you have concerns about your mental health, eating patterns, alcohol use, or safety, consult a licensed professional.

5. Safety Gates

If your intake responses indicate certain risk patterns, we may:

• Pause your Protocol and refer you to professional resources before proceeding
• Refuse to deliver the Protocol and issue a full refund
• Recommend that you seek immediate clinical care
• Provide crisis resources (e.g., 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, Crisis Text Line)

These decisions are made in our sole discretion to protect your safety. You agree not to dispute or challenge such decisions.

6. Pricing and Payment

The current price of the Protocol is $497.00 USD (founding-member pricing, available to the first 300 buyers). After 300 founding spots are filled, the price increases to $997.00 USD. All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Payment is processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method for the total amount, including taxes.

7. Refund Policy

A separate Refund Policy applies to your purchase. See /refund for full terms. The Refund Policy is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within the Protocol — including but not limited to text, layouts, designs, code, methodologies, frameworks, citations, infographics, the underlying scoring system, and the tier calibration architecture — is the intellectual property of Roan Priatel and is protected under Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your license to use the Protocol:

• Personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Protocol for your own personal, non-commercial benefit
• You may print one copy for your own use

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, gift, or transfer the Protocol or any portion of it
• Publish, post, or share the Protocol, in whole or in part, on any platform
• Use the Protocol or its contents to train any artificial intelligence model
• Use the Protocol or its underlying methodology to build a competing product or service
• Remove or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary markings
• Use any of our content for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

Any violation of these intellectual property terms is a material breach of these Terms and may result in legal action.

9. Your Data

By submitting an intake, you grant us a limited license to use your intake responses solely for the purpose of building, reviewing, and delivering your Protocol, and for providing follow-up communications. You retain all ownership of your intake responses. See our Privacy Policy at /privacy for full details.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Site or Protocol for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your intake
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, or otherwise extract the methodology underlying the Protocol
• Use the Site to harass, threaten, or harm any person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our database, our admin tools, or any related systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to interact with the Site without our written permission
• File a chargeback with your payment provider without first requesting a refund from us in writing
• Engage in any conduct intended to defraud us or any other party

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption
• Any decision you make or action you take based on the Protocol
• Any health outcome, mental health event, relationship outcome, financial outcome, or life event you experience during or after using the Protocol
• The acts of third parties, including healthcare providers we may recommend
• Service interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the Site

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Protocol is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $497 USD, whichever is less.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roan Priatel, his successors, and assigns from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Site or Protocol
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party right
• Any false or misleading information you provide in your intake
• Any consequence of action or inaction you take based on the Protocol

13. Health and Safety Acknowledgment

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your own physical and mental health
• You will consult a licensed healthcare provider before making any significant change to your physical, mental, or behavioral health regimen
• You will not delay seeking professional medical or mental health care because of any content in the Protocol
• The Protocol does not replace appropriate clinical care
• If you experience any worsening of mental health, thoughts of self-harm, or any acute health concern while using the Protocol, you will discontinue use immediately and seek professional help

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

Informal resolution first: Before filing any legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by emailing us at hello@myresetprotocol.com with a detailed description of the issue. We will respond in good faith within 30 days.

Mandatory arbitration (for U.S. residents): If you reside in the United States and informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Protocol shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding.

Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute shall be brought solely in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding.

Jurisdiction (for non-U.S. residents): Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and the Protocol. No oral statements, prior representations, or marketing materials modify these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to recent purchasers. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
